All belongs to all

"For the first time in history, a revolution has been accomplished which considers the NEEDS of the people before schooling them in their DUTIES."

The Conquest of Bread - Peter Kropotkin

Food is an integral part of our lives and a carrier of special information. It is a universal language through which we write our own stories, expose the conscious and unconscious worlds, emphasize our identity, diversity, uniqueness, and originality. Food is a social construct. It is a political statement. It reveals our ethnicities and religious beliefs. Exposes the prohibitions and dogmas within us; Affects our health, development, our emotional state, and well-being.

Food is a feeling of security and happiness, it is transformation, it is the changes. It is a reflection of the past, a connection to our memories and friends. It is a ritual through which we celebrate and mourn; we share our knowledge, experience, and lifestyle. A medium for conveying one's ideology, values, and visions.

Food is life.
Food is poison.
It is love and hate, It kills.
Causes wars, pandemics, and at the same time, it is a joyous pleasure.
It wakes us up, puts us to sleep, awakens us.
It is aphrodisiac it increases cravings, sexuality, and libido.

It is a control mechanism of the state and an instrument of oppression for the privileged. A tool of gender discrimination for society - as we are taught to manage the body through food and forced to obey the patriarchal order.

Food, that centuries ago had only a biological dimension, now is a determinant of social and economic status, ethnic, religious, and cultural identity. People should have access to well balanced food at all times for a dignified life, but today it has become a cruel and ruthless tool in the hands of corporations.

Corporations have complete control over the food supply of the world's population, and instead of meeting the needs of society, they are focused only on getting richer. Added to this is the constant rise in food prices, which makes life more difficult for the poor.

In the modern world, more than 1 billion people go hungry every day due to food shortages, 4,000 people die of poverty and hunger every day, one in three children under the age of 5 suffers from malnutrition, one in ten people get sick from contaminated food and at the same time 1.3 billion tons of food is wasted every year.

Forests are being cut down due to food.
Biodiversity is being destroyed.
The climate is changing.
77 billion wild animals and 2.7 trillion wild fish die so we can eat,
Eat endlessly
Eat to death,
Because we are what we hunger for,
We are what we eat.
And yet, we can’t get enough.
